Based in Sydney, we seek to employ a Procurement Manager to drive project and program management of key supply chain initiatives across centralised operations, manage sourcing capabilities and integrate the newly acquired business. This role will require you to be the conduit across all business units and create the heartbeat of the entire operation, bringing together all revenue streams and exhibiting clear and precise planning skills and strong commercial acumen.
As the Procurement Manager, you will:
- Be responsible for the group procurement of stock, non-consumables and all ancillary services
- Have accountability and responsibility for all stock movements within the business
- Financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, buying cycles and cost control
- Oversee supplier relationships and strategic purchasing opportunities
- Review existing purchasing agreements and negotiate to ensure continuous improvement and benefit within the businesses
- Lead project management, including a systems and capability review to ensure continuous improvement and benefit within the businesses
- Be the conduit across logistics, purchasing, and operations through effective stakeholder management
- Implement key business planning processes to foster a continuous improvement mindset and process improvements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Minimum of 3 years in a Procurement Management role with proven experience in hospitality, retail or catering.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate with all levels across the business.
- Willingness to listen to, understand the needs of the business and contribute.
- Be proactive and move the company forward.
- A track record in managing, developing and improving operations using your skillset, reports and KPIs.
- Have excellent communication and time management skills.
