With venues in Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Townsville they pride themselves on providing training, opportunity, and career development for their people – many of whom have been there for many years and have progressed through middle management onto operations and senior area management roles – you could be next!
  
By providing simple, enjoyable food and beverage experiences in high-volume environments, they strive for exceptional customer service that appeals directly to their venue's broad demographic.

Their newest venue is due to open at the end of 2024 - ready for a busy summer period this multi-outlet venue will have a state-of-the-art kitchen serving the classics with modern flair.

Job Description

This is a true leadership role, requiring you to set the food culture for the venue. This group strives to be the best in all aspects of its operation, delivering a positive, inclusive and welcoming culture for colleagues and customers alike.
  
First and foremost, you will be responsible for the performance of your own team including hiring, training and developing them, driving their performance and standards and giving them the tools to succeed. The ability to manage people appropriately is essential to success in this role.

You will be supported by the Group Executive Chef and will also be responsible for delivering consistent, fresh, simple, high-volume fare while maintaining a strong focus on variable cost controls across three profit centres. A strong understanding of the financial aspects of running successful, high-volume kitchen operations will be beneficial.

Candidate Profile

To be considered for this role you will have;

• Experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef within a high-volume establishment
• A positive and solutions-focused approach with the desire to build a great team and offer career progression
• An open communication style with the ability to inspire those working around you
• Ability to build a creative team that is focused on process and product
• Strong financial acumen focussing on labour and food cost control
• Ability to review operational performance and make improvements
• A structured and organised approach to managing multiple tasks simultaneously
• Full unrestricted working rights in Australia
