Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to step foot into a venue with a long history of developing talented & skilled individuals. 

As the Event Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end operational focus of the events department at this beautiful and unique venue, with tasks including scheduling, training, quality control and of course, the guest experience.

You will utilise your premium service and events background to educate and improve those working around you, creating meaningful connections and elevating the guest experience in the process. This is not a business as usual role, rather the focus is continued improvement and product evolution all the time focused on providing unforgettable experiences. You will be the face of the business. 

As Event Operations Manager you will:
  • Have experience as a hands-on leader who has the ability to influence a positive workplace culture
  • Oversee all day-to-day operations including event organization and service management, overall venue presentation and maintenance, stock control, and guest satisfaction
  • Be responsible for recruitment, onboarding and staff training and development
  • Have experience in rostering and approving timesheets accordingly
  • Implement processes and standards to ensure overall operations run effectively and seamlessly, and that there is clear and cooperative collaboration between the events team, the front of house and the kitchen 
  • Ensure that customer service is of the highest standard
  • Build a strong rapport with all guests, clients and your teams

Candidate Profile   
   
To be successful in this role you will have:  
  • Experience as an Operations Manager within a premium events business
  • A highly structured and organized approach, managing multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Exceptional management skills and the ability to work autonomously
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Strong financial awareness especially regarding COGs and Labour
  • Above all, a genuine passion for events and hospitality

Offer

This fantastic role offers a highly attractive remuneration package comprised of a generous base salary plus Commission.
