Job Description
Based out of Head Office, the Compliance & Security Manager will lead all compliance activity across the group, ensuring every venue operates to the highest legal and operational standards. Reporting to the COO, this role sits at the heart of the business, guiding risk mitigation, regulatory adherence, and cross-functional compliance.
This role is perfect for a commercially minded, operationally engaged compliance leader who can balance strategy with day-to-day execution.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Gaming & Liquor Compliance – oversight of licences, audits, RSA training, and responsible service practices
- AML/CTF – lead programs, train staff, monitor risks and reporting
- Fire & Safety – drive drills, checks, and risk assessments across all sites
- Security Management – oversee external security providers and their performance
- Audit & Reporting – track, measure, and communicate risk and resolution across the business
- Training & Culture – build awareness and accountability through strong internal education
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 5+ years’ experience in a compliance leadership role, ideally in hospitality, gaming or a related industry
- Deep knowledge of Australian liquor, gaming, AML/CTF, WHS and fire safety regulations
- Demonstrated ability to manage group-wide systems and multiple stakeholders
- Strong audit, reporting and risk assessment capabilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach with a drive for continuous improvement
- Tertiary qualifications in Law, Business, Compliance or similar (preferred)
