Job Description
The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of venue operations, ensuring financial targets are met, and leading a team to deliver outstanding service. This role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, mentoring the management team
- Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets, forecast financial performance, and implement strategies to achieve revenue and profit goals.
- Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of managers and staff to ensure high performance and staff retention.
- Customer Service: Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered at all times, handling escalated issues and maintaining high client satisfaction.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement long-term strategies to enhance the venue's reputation and profitability.
To be successful in this role you will need;
- Proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role in a premium venue.
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of hospitality industry standards and best practices.
