Are you a culinary artist with a passion for crafting unforgettable fine dining experiences? We are searching for a Chef de Cuisine to lead a fine-dining Japanese cuisine restaurant, offering lunch and dinner. This is your opportunity to shape the culinary journey of our guests in one of the world’s most stunning locations.
Your Role in Our Success
As the Chef de Cuisine, you will:
- Drive Daily Operations: Manage day-to-day operations, including VIP dinners, private dinners, and Chef's Table experiences, ensuring exceptional quality and guest satisfaction
- Craft Exceptional Experiences: Design and execute menus for fine dining that showcase the best of Japanese cuisine
- Lead Culinary Excellence: Ensuring that every dish reflects our commitment to quality, presentation, and guest satisfaction.
- Inspire & Mentor: Lead, motivate, and develop a team of chefs, ensuring the highest standards are consistently met
- Elevate Guest Interaction: Be visible during key dining experiences, engaging with guests to gather feedback and ensure their expectations are exceeded
- Collaborate for Perfection: Work closely with other departments to create seamless, memorable dining experiences that enhance the overall guest experience
- Innovate Constantly: Stay ahead of fine dining trends and bring fresh, creative ideas to the table, ensuring our offerings remain at the forefront of luxury cuisine
- At least 2 years of experience as a Chef De Cuisine (Japanese Specialty) or with a minimum of 3 years as a Senior Sous Chef or higher in a fine dining environment
- Proven expertise in managing day-to-day operations, VIP dinners, fine dining, and Chef's Table experiences
- A luxury fine dining background, with a track record of delivering exceptional culinary experiences in high-end establishments
- Exceptional culinary creativity skills, with a passion for pushing the boundaries of Japanese cuisine while maintaining authenticity
- Experience in Hatted or Michelin-starred restaurants or equivalent ultra-luxury dining establishments, showcasing the ability to deliver world-class dining experiences
- A chef who is dynamic, well-organized, and self-driven, with a deep understanding of current culinary trends
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and inspire a diverse culinary team
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments
- Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining a professional and positive attitude
